During the initial phase of the project, we delved into understanding the project objectives and defining our target audience. We recognized that our audience consisted of professionals and enthusiasts from the tech and business sectors, individuals who were passionate about AI monetization and eager to explore its potential.

To gain deeper insights into their needs, aspirations, and pain points, we developed personas that personified our target audience. Empathizing with their goals, motivations and challenges, allowed us to tailor our content, design and user experience to meet their specific needs.

Striking a delicate balance between delivering valuable content and avoiding overwhelm was crucial. We aimed to establish intuitive navigation to effectively connect with AI enthusiasts, ensuring sustained engagement and visual consistency. Additionally, optimizing the platform for mobile devices, addressing technical jargon, and encouraging newsletter subscriptions posed further challenges. Fostering a sense of community, ensuring accessibility, and incorporating user feedback were additional hurdles to overcome. However, we were prepared to tackle these

Standout competitors include Big Brain, known for concise and informative AI content in just three minutes, and Ben's Bites, offering humor-infused daily AI news with continuous improvements and an extensive list of tools. Superhuman focuses on leveraging AI for productivity, while competitors like The Neuron, Not A Bot, AI Valley, The Rundown, and Prompts Daily showcase distinctive strengths. The insights gained from this audit enabled us to create a competitive offering tailored to our target audience's needs and choose the platform that the newsletter is going to be based on.

We infused it with just the right amount of playfulness to mirror the excitement and innovation surrounding AI. The language we carefully selected was energetic and inspiring, encouraging readers to explore the boundless possibilities of AI monetization. Despite the limitations presented by the CMS that was used, we approached the challenge ensuring a user-friendly, responsive and engaging website experience. We settled on a one-pager structure with three main elements (excluding the website header and footer).

Despite the limitations presented by the CMS that was used, we approached the challenge ensuring a user-friendly, responsive and engaging website experience. We settled on a one-pager structure with three main elements (excluding the website header and footer).

  1. Clear Call-to-Action

For the hero section we took an action-oriented approach in order to minimize any confusion and provide a seamless path for our users to subscribe to the newsletter. Users can get the value proposition of the product from the get go, and are encouraged to subscribe by a CTA button with a contrasting color and a playful message conveying the tone of the brand.

For browsing efficiency, we added a section with highlighted articles in order to achieve immediate engagement and clear communication, letting users quickly understand the website's focus and offerings.

  1. Full article list, search bar and content tags.

We also implemented a list with all published articles, giving the users a search bar in order to find specific articles or topics they are interested in. Combined with content tags that represent different topics or categories, making it easier to explore content of interest without the need to search extensively.
